Description

Undying Flower is a dark interactive storytelling game about the emotional journey through the darkest memories of Nala, looking for a way to erase the trauma and regret through an experimental treatment guided by a mysterious being called The Flower.

Two sides to every coin, two sides to every memory. Journey through shared memories of Nala and her late grandfather, piecing together the truth of what happened between them, the joy, the sorrow, and everything in between.

Learn about her lost memories through dialogues, and using the Flower's power, find a solution to try and erase her regret, and test it. Test. Test. Then test again. Change the variables. Change the answers. Find a way to erase the regret. Eventually.

Story

The story of this game is about fixing regrets you don't remember. Nala, our main character, is working on a secret experiment that will take her through an unexpected journey to her past guided by The Flower, where she can unlock her forgotten memories, and face her biggest regret of killing her grandfather.

In the memory Nala will meet the spirit of her grandfather, a broken man who lost everything. barely keeping himself together, and trying his best to take care of her precious granddaughter, Nala, before his tragic end. We will see what happened in the past through his eyes, as well as her own.

The story will be guided by a mysterious being called "The Flower." On one side, she's the experiment subject, a lifeless girl who's being used for her power. On the other side, she's a being who travels between memories and has the ability to alter them. She's the "owner" of this magical world that you see, and you'll explore.

About Calcatz

"Video game is the ultimate form of art"

Those words created Calcatz back in 2015, in a room of a college boy creating a small game to tell a story. We are a small team of 6, creating a multimedia studio to eventually make an impact on the world around us through storytelling, starting with a video game.

As a small team, Undying Flower is our first big project, it’s a passion project that will be the start of our storytelling world.
